Tout simplement.

Après avoir été chercheur universitaire, auteur et technicien à l’image pour le cinéma, je deviens photographe professionnel en 2006.

Mais la photographie qui m’intéresse gravite autour de l’observation fascinée, étonnée, ironique, humoristique ou tendre de la culture, des comportements, de l’histoire, de la nature aussi et sans doute de l’existence.

Je ne suis pas photographe de guerre. Je sais que la misère et l’horreur sont des réalités, mais nous ne pouvons vivre avec cette seule perspective. Nous sommes des êtres d’équilibres. Et nous avons besoin de nous rééquilibrer face à l’adversité. C’est ce qui sous-tend mon modeste travail : se faire du bien pour être bien et pouvoir avancer.

Quite simply

After being a university researcher, author and image technicien in the cinema, I became a professionnel photographer in 2006.

But the photography that interests me revolves around the fascinated, astonished, ironic, humorous or tender observation of culture, behavior, history, and nature too, and undoubtedly of the existence

.I am not a war photgrapher. I know that misery and horror are reality, but we can’t live with this single perspective. We are beings of balance. And we need to rebalance ourselves in the face of adversity. This is what underlies my modest work : doing good to be good and be able to move forward.
